Materials 1 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Construction Materials is a course that introduces learners to the types, properties, uses, and selection of materials used in building and civil engineering works. The course focuses on understanding how different materials behave, their strengths and weaknesses, and how they contribute to the safety, durability, and quality of construction projects.

GBC 1 General building construction

General Building Construction is a course that teaches learners the knowledge and skills required to plan, construct, and manage building projects. It focuses on the principles, materials, tools, and techniques used in the construction of residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

The course covers key areas such as building materials, site preparation, foundations, masonry work, concrete technology, roofing, plastering, and finishing works. Learners also study construction drawings, building regulations, safety procedures, and basic project management in the construction industry.
